The following documents must be attached to your online application: •Resume •Letter of Introduction •At least three Letters of Reference less than one year old and one must be from immediate supervisor Representative Duties: Under the direction of the assigned supervisor(s)/administrator(s), directs the overall operations of the West Covina Unified School District (WCUSD) PAC including the planning and scheduling of use of the PAC. The Manager organizes, coordinates, oversees, and supports event operations of the PAC for student performances and community, commercial, and non-profit rentals. Arranges for facility and equipment maintenance for performance spaces, supports special event and filming rentals, and provides technical guidance to student crews and operations staff. Works collaboratively with colleagues, including other industry professionals to establish the reputation of the PAC as a venue for high quality student, community and professional performances, and to provide opportunities for pathways for students; supervises and directs the work of assigned support staff.
Education/Experience: High School diploma or recognized equivalent; Coursework, training, and/or certification in theater production or related field; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in the performing arts or related technical field is preferred; Willingness to work towards obtaining proper CTE credentialing to teach Technical Theater Significant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience (as determined by the District) in technical theater operations, production management and activities, including stage management, stage crafts, sound reinforcement, theatrical lighting and rigging, including at least one year of supervisory experience Licenses/Other Requirements: Must possess a valid California Driver’s License during course of employment; must be insurable at standard rates and maintain such insurability during the course of employment
