Job Summary

This is a Dual Language Spanish elementary class at Arovista Elementary School. The teacher in the Spanish Language Dual Immersion program provides standards-based, culturally embedded instruction in the elementary classroom that meets district standards and benchmarks and leads to oral language proficiency and biliteracy in Spanish and English.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: * Native or native-like Spanish Speaker * Experience and/or training in Dual Language, Language Acquisition, Biliteracy and Cooperative Learning Education: * Appropriate Clear Multiple Subject Teaching credential, or equivalent * Appropriate Bilingual or BCLAD authorization, or equivalent
