The service delivery model in our district is intervention-based with discrepancy model. Responsibilities include assessment, individual and group counseling (if desired), consultation, and behavioral interventions. What We Offer: * Base pay of $71,000-$74,000. In addition, appropriately certified school psychologists are eligible for $3,700 in classroom site fund money to be paid in one lump sum in July 2025. * 166-day employment contract, working Monday-Thursday from July through May * Supplemental agreement available for additional compensated hours * Bilingual stipend * Flexible and hybrid work schedules * 12 weeks of non-contracted days throughout the fiscal year, allowing for work/life balance and time for outside interests * Medical, dental and vision insurance options available to employee at no cost * Retirement pension through Arizona State Retirement System where 100% of your contributions are matched by employer * Paid sick leave * Paid life insurance

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time, exempt position, contracted for 166 days between July 1, 2025 and May 20, 2026. Employee will typically work Monday through Thursday. Extended work hours may be required.
Required Education and Experience
Master’s or more advanced degree from an accredited institution with relative coursework and internship or experience to qualify for the Standard School Psychologist, PreKindergarten-12 Certificate through Arizona Department of Education.
Preferred Education and Experience
* Knowledge of the principles of school psychology
* Experience with interpreting laws, policies, and guidelines relating to school psychology
* Experience working with a diverse student population
Required Certifications/Licenses
* Standard School Psychologist, PreKindergarten-12 Certificate through Arizona Department of Education
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
