Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Credential Services Specialist I Any combination equivalent to: Education: College-level course work in human resources, public administration or a related field is highly desirable and may be prioritized in the screening process, AND Experience: One (1) year clerical/technical experience related to human resources or personnel management. Experience must include maintaining computerized records. Credential Services Specialist II Any combination equivalent to: Education: College-level course work in human resources, public administration or a related field may be considered as partial fulfillment of the work experience requirement, AND Experience: Three (3) years human resources clerical/technical experience related to credentialing, recruitment, selection or employment. Experience must include maintaining computerized records, and interpreting and applying complex laws, rules and regulations. Experience providing technical leadership is desirable.

- The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a written exam, tentatively scheduled for January 31, 2025.
- Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for February 13, 2025.
- Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for the week of February 17, 2025.
- Second interviews may be held in-person.
