Job Summary

Job Summary

The job of Speech & Language Pathologist is done for the purpose/s of identifying, evaluating, and implementing speech and language services for students with speech and language impairments; implements assessment procedures and annual standard tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis; conveys pertinent student information to appropriate staff; works collaboratively with staff, parents and outside agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience Required: • One year of experience working with school age students; Education Required: • Bachelor’s degree required; • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology OR proof of acceptance in an ASHA accredited speech & language program OR eligible for a speech language waiver; • Valid California Credential authorizing service as a speech and language specialist;
