All substitute teachers must have a valid teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Permit. They must be cleared through MCOE (Marin County Office of Education). Cleared TB tests and Fingerprints are part of the MCOE substitute registration.

Once active status with MCOE is verified and an EdJoin application has been submitted, the applicant's work history will be verified per AB 2534.
