SPECIAL EDUCATION ITINERANT TEACHER, TK-5 at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
The Special Education Itinerant Teacher, K-5 (SEIT) collaborates with administrators, teachers, Individualized Education Program (IEP) team members, and instructional aides in developing and monitoring the success of students in the general education Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten (TK/K) classrooms. The SEIT is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating appropriate individualized education services for special education students in multiple TK/K inclusion locations. Must have an Education Specialist Instructional Credential: Moderate/Severe Disabilities, Autism authorization, and EL authorization.
The following must be attached to Edjoin application:
- Copy of Transcript
- Credential Copy
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three, no older than a year, signed and dated.)
- Resume
- Test Results/Materials (CBEST)
