Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal and/or School Administration, this position will teach courses in our Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum. The position will provide instruction in courses such as Computer Science Principles (CSP), Digital Electronics (DE), Engineering Design and Development (EDD), Gateway to Technology (GTT). Project Lead the Way training will be provided as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: ~Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university ~Valid California Teaching Credential in designated subject area required ~Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science or Math required ~CLAD/ BCLAD/English Learner (EL) Certification OR the commitment to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire date required
Professional Requirements: ~Complete annual training requirements. ~Maintain confidentiality at all times. ~Work with a diversity of individuals and/or groups. ~Report to work on time and as scheduled. ~Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times. ~Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices. ~Attend regular staff meetings. ~Flexibility is required to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances
