Job Summary
Community Interest classes are offered in a variety of subjects and are designed for adult students' personal growth and enrichment. Examples include fitness, art, cooking, world languages, computers, and a variety of other special interests. We are actively seeking instructors in the culinary arts, visual arts, world languages, and health and fitness. Teachers should have expertise in their subject, the ability to instruct adults, and be able to independently prepare materials and lessons.
Requirements / Qualifications
A Community Interest teacher will have sufficient knowledge and expertise in the course content, the ability to develop course materials independently, aptitude teaching adults, and organizational skills. In the letter of interest, applicants should describe their experience and detail their proposed course offering.
