Altus Kids is a homeschool program for students in Transitional Kindergarten – 5th grade under the highly successful, independent study program of Altus Schools Audeo (Audeo). Altus Kids offers two models of homeschool: Our 5-Day Home Study Program allows for 100% of home instruction and our 3/2 Blended Study Program blends 3 days of home study with 2 days of “Enrichment” onsite at the Altus Kids Resource Center. Up to 3 enrichment sessions may be held concurrently with no more than 15 students participating in each session. The learning environment is professional, clean, safe and well-equipped with curriculum resources, teacher & student laptops, desktop computers, wireless networks, and high-speed T-1 Internet access in each resource center. Selection Procedure: Selected applicants will first complete a work-styles/behavioral survey and a math assessment. Candidates who successfully pass this initial phase will advance to an interview with a panel of School Administrators. Those who excel in this stage will move on to a final interview with the Deputy Superintendent of School Services and Founding Director and the Superintendent of School Services and Founder. We do not invite all applicants to an interview. We do not hire everyone who applies, and we do not discuss our hiring decisions with applicants. Compensation and Benefits: Employees are eligible for coverage beginning the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
