Job Summary

The Chaperone ensures the safety, supervision, and positive experience of students during school-related activities. Key responsibilities include: 1. Supervising students at all times, including during breaks and meals. 2. Enforcing school rules and dress codes while fostering a positive environment. 3. Welcoming students and parents upon arrival and submitting attendance rosters. 4. Addressing serious disciplinary issues in collaboration with UCM CEP staff. 5. Traveling with the group at all times and ensuring proper behavior on buses. 6. Administering medication and assisting with snack setup as per district policies. 7. Maintaining professional and appropriate attire while modeling enthusiasm and positivity. Between four and six chaperones are required, based on student enrollment, to support students in grades 5 through 8.
