Vista High School is seeking a Head Girls Tennis Coach for the 2025/2026 school year. The school is a comprehensive high school of nearly 1800 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful north San Diego County. The school’s athletic program has a long history of success and is hoping to continue its performance in Girls Tennis.
The Vista High School Girls Tennis program is:
*A member of the North County Valley Palomar League competing against Mission Hills, Poway, Ramona, Rancho Buena Vista, and Sage Creek High Schools.
*A complete program including junior varsity and varsity levels of competition.
Support & responsibilities for the Head Girls Tennis Coach includes:
*Extra-duty salary compensation – ( one stipend each, Varsity, JV)
*Fund Raising
*Practice planning & game preparation
*Issuing uniforms and equipment
*Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
The position requires the following qualifications:
*At least three years’ experience in coaching high school Tennis.
*The ability to establish and maintain a competitive tradition in a climate that supports student success with high student expectations
*The desire and ability to compete with area high schools in various CIF competitions, including all CIF sanctioned tournaments and playoffs.
