Job Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer and the Director of Technology, the Data Systems Specialist assists with the coordination of the County computer information functions including database analysis, design, and programming.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Any combination of education, training, or experience which addresses the needs of the position. Minimum of 5 years of closely related experience working with data systems, student information systems, and/or databases. Work experience in an educational setting and with student information systems preferred. Possess a valid California Driver's License. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Letter of Introduction Classified Management Application Resume Copy of College Transcripts Three (3) letters of recommendation (dated within the last two years) Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Related administrative experience is necessary to assure success in a leadership role. This position has supervisory responsibility for the planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the quality and quantity of work of professionals, technical and clerical employees. Employer/Employee shared cost Medical, Dental and Vision benefit package available for employee and dependents. Master's Degree $1,200; Doctorate Degree $2,400 Longevity: 2.5% increments at years 6, 8, 11, 16, 20 and 26
