This is an immediate opening for the 24/25 school year. Thursdays 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm The Grossmont Adult Education, part of the Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD), is actively recruiting for a part-time adult education Real Estate teacher. The hours offered are in the evening. The class is located at Foothills Adult Center. Applicants must be willing to work in a team teaching environment and be able to collaborate on a weekly basis. Essential Attributes: Outstanding verbal and written communications skills Understand and apply workplace safety guidelines Ability to instruct and work with a diverse adult student population. Willingness to collaborate with CTE, Academic and ESL colleagues to develop curricula, lesson plans, and deliver instruction for a diverse student population. Prepare students for jobs in the Real Estate arena Willingness to learn and develop online, distance learning content and work in the Canvas LMS portal. Willingness to attend Professional Development activities outside of the standard teaching assignment. Ability to ensure student relevance to the curriculum as it relates to both subject matter content and industry standards. Willingness and ability to develop and maintain industry contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years successful and verifiable work experience in the field of Marketing, Sales & Service with an emphasis in Real Estate.
Adult Ed Teaching Credential or agree to start process within the first 30 days of hire
