LTE Grants Accounting Specialist
TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT RECRUITMENT
UP TO 6 MONTHS(CURRENT VACANCY 100%)$28.97/ HOURLY
The Workforce and Economic Division department of the Long Beach Community College District is seeking highly qualified individuals for a current opportunity as an LTE - Grants Accounting Specialist! This individual will be responsible for accounting related duties involving the monitoring and tracking of funds, disbursements, expense transfers and other accounting adjustments for various grant programs of the district. Incumbents must possess a detailed knowledge of accounting principles, rules and regulations governing grant, and special project programs.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area and one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in performing financial and statistical record keeping; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in grant accounting is highly desirable.
