Your Skills and Duties * Works with the classroom teachers and the support staff to provide individual Interventions for each student. * Assists the Principal in being a liaison with the Social Work Staff and works with the Supervising Social Worker in helping the students. * Assists the Principal in working with the SELPA’s and Turlock Schools. * Counsels with students, individually and in groups, and keeps close contact with families. Helps coordinate services with the Stanislaus County. * Serves as a liaison with community agencies including Mental Health, Probation, Interagency Task Force and others. * Attends I.E.P. meetings on a regular basis. * Attends Stan Academy Staff meetings weekly. Requirements / Qualifications

Education & Work Experience * Master’s Degree eligible, pupil personnel credential eligible (authorization in school counseling.) May be enrolled in an approved counseling internship program concurrently. * Proof of credential authorizing pupil personnel services in school counseling issues through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, State of California. * Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a licensed Community Care Facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report)
