Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Special Education Director or designee provides student support in either group settings, on an individual basis and/or in structured classroom environment to facilitate integration into a classroom and independence in the setting; assist students with behavior, instruction, and other related areas as required. Assists students in diapering and toileting as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or equivalent (certificate or official transcripts) • An AA degree or a minimum of 48 College Units or pass the District’s proficiency test. (attach official or unofficial transcripts) • Bilingual in Spanish preferred. • Resume (desirable) LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California driver's license, State or federal identification. • CPR and First Aid certificate.
