This Position serves as a Literacy Specialist Teacher for the READ 180 Program for grades 9-12th and creates a flexible program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with each student's ability. Instructs students in activities designed to promote literacy and reading growth needed for school success by performing the following duties.

Full Time, Monday, 8:00am -2:00pm; Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm
Compensation:
Clear Credential: $79,500/year - $100,700/year
Preliminary Credential: $68,900/year
Intern Credential: $66,144/year

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) or Bilingual Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) certificate or equivalent English Language Learner Authorization
Reading Specialist education designation highly desired
Teaching experience
