Position Title: High School Head Football Coach Location: Oro Grande, California Reports To: Athletic Director and Principal Employment Type: Seasonal Position Overview: Riverside Preparatory School, a growing charter school in Oro Grande, California dedicated to athletic excellence and academic success, seeks a passionate and experienced Head Football Coach. The successful candidate will lead the high school football program, fostering a culture of sportsmanship, discipline, and team achievement while upholding the standards of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Develop and oversee the entire football program, ensuring alignment with the school's mission, values, and CIF regulations. Create a comprehensive development plan for athletes from all levels. Coaching & Player Development: Plan, organize, and lead practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and player safety. Teach game strategies, techniques, and fundamental skills tailored to varying skill levels. Monitor academic performance and support student-athletes in maintaining eligibility standards. Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and supervise assistant coaches, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative coaching staff. Promote a positive team culture focused on respect, accountability, and growth. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the broader community to build enthusiasm and support for the football program. Represent the school at CIF meetings and regional coaching events when required. Administrative Duties: Manage the football program's budget, equipment, and facilities in coordination with the Athletic Director. Ensure compliance with all CIF, league, and school policies regarding athletic participation. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders about schedules, expectations, and program updates.
