Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Deputy Chief Facilities & Operations Officer or designee, incumbents in this position will perform duties at the journeyman level locksmith in the installation replacement, rekeying, cleaning and adjusting door, window, cabinet, cupboard, auto locks and related materials and systems; may supervise helpers at lower level. To be available for after hours, weekends and emergency calls; performs other work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any other combination of experience, training, and/or education that could likely provide the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Education Equivalent to graduation from High School Experience Four (4) years of journeyman-level experience in electrical trade, in addition to completion of an apprenticeship or its equivalent. One year in successful supervision.
Required Licenses and/or Certificates Possesses and maintain a valid California Driver's License is required at the time of employment to operate district vehicles as determined by the District and lability and insurance carrier.
