OPENING DETAILS: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day Work Hours: TBD Salary Range: Range I (Schedule B - Classified Supervisors and Managers) BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, perform a variety of administrative duties related to the planning, organization and supervision of the custodial, security and delivery functions of the District; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

ALL APPLICANTS MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT THROUGH EDJOIN.ORG TO APPLY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate KNOWLEDGE OF: Modern methods, techniques, organization and management of staff development for custodial services functions and activities; fire, health, safety and other various laws, regulations and procedures related to plant maintenance and custodial activities; effective methods of cost control, including budget preparation in selection of materials and custodial staff utilization; district organization, operations, policies and objectives; budget preparation and control; modern office practices, procedures and equipment; principles and practices of administration, supervision, hiring, training and scheduling; applicable sections of State Education Code and other applicable laws; correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. ABILITY TO: Perform a variety of administrative duties related to the planning, organization and direction of the custodial, security, and delivery functions for the District; draw, read and interpret drawings and plans; interpret laws and regulations and develop policies which relate to custodial services activities; estimate and prepare budget needs and develop policies which relate to custodial services activities; plan and organize work; read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures; analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action; meet schedules and time lines; establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others; prepare comprehensive narrative and statistical reports; maintain a variety of records and files related to the Custodial Services Department; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.
