Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing leadership for the Child Nutrition Program. Supervises the implementation of Child Nutrition dietary guidelines as directed by the federal and state regulations set by the USDA and California Department of Education. Assist in ensuring that the Child Nutrition programs meet the regulatory and nutritional requirements for students, promote the development of sound nutritional practices, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Graduate required; Associate Arts preferred Nutrition Related Education preferred Serve Safe or Food Safety Certificate preferred Experience: Experience in school food service or nutrition related field required Two years of coordinating office functions preferred Experience in public school setting preferred Controlled Substance and Alcohol Testing Program All persons selected by a hiring supervisor and offered a position from an appropriate employment list for a job position requiring a Commercial Driver’s License and the performance of safety-sensitive functions, are subject to pre-employment testing and written verification of participation in prior drug testing programs.
