Requirements / Qualifications

Credential Requirements: • Valid California Multiple Subjects Credential or Credential Physical Education • CLAD or BCLAD certification- EL Authorization • Successful completion of basic skills (CBEST) • Copy of Subject Matter Exam for NCLB compliance Education: B.A or B.S. degree required. CPR/First Aid Certification required before first day of employment. Experience: Two or more years of successful experience teaching elementary school students preferred but not required. Personal Qualifications: Dynamic character, flexible, team player and proper social capability to relate effectively with diverse staff, students, parents and community. Ability to work with a wide variety of learners.
