Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: •Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in the repair and overhaul of gasoline and diesel powered equipment. Such experience shall have been at a journeyman level automotive or diesel mechanic •Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License; have acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District's recognized insurance carrier (DMV report prior to employment); may be required to be bondable. •Automobile Certificate of Excellence (ASE) preferred. Please note - *We do not accept a resume in lieu of a complete application. *All document copies must be attached to your application at time of submission. *If “Record of Work Experience” on application is left blank, it will be considered incomplete.
