Job Summary
The ERMHS school psychologist will work under the direction of the Program Administrator of Early Intervening and Mental Health Services or designee, provide educationally related mental health services (ERMHS) as determined by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); provide intensive evidence-based counseling services for students and their families; consult and collaborate with IEP teams regarding student mental health needs; conduct educationally related mental health evaluations to determine educationally related mental health needs; assist IEP teams in determining appropriate services, goals and supports to address the mental health needs of eligible students; monitor and report student progress on social-emotional educationally-related IEP goals; and/or counseling goals; and collect and maintain progress data on student goals. DUTIES: *Conduct special circumstance comprehensive assessments evaluating a student’s mental health needs and make recommendations for educationally related mental health services for students with significant social-emotional needs at IEP meetings. *Provide consultation with site psychologists regarding ERMHS evaluations that the site psychologists have conducted. *Provide evidence-based educationally related mental health services including individual and group counseling for eligible students. *Provide case management services including, but not limited to: referral, assessment, determination of counseling needs, monitoring, and goal development. *Provide crisis intervention support for eligible students in emotional distress, as needed. *Attend and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and make recommendations for goals, accommodations, and services. *Coordinate with other school staff (including but not limited to school social workers, case carriers, school counselors, etc.) to provide coordinated services to students. *Communicate with district staff (site staff and district o

*Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology *Hold Master’s Degree or higher. *Hold and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential - School Psychologist *A valid professional mental health license issued by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or CA Board of Psychology -LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist -LPCC, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor -LEP, Licensed Educational Psychologist -LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker -LP, Licensed Psychologist Please apply online at: LBSCHOOLS.NET/TEACH
