Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: •Valid Class C California driver's license. ** •Basic Academy Post Academy Certificate issued by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.* •Current American Red Cross First Aid Certificate or an acceptable equivalent. * •Current American Red Cross C.P.R. Certificate or an acceptable equivalent. ** *Employees in this classification are responsible for renewing the documents listed to ensure their validity throughout employment in this classification. ** Submitted upon offer of employment. * Employment in this position is contingent upon pre-employment clearances: Board Approval, Department of Justice Clearance, Negative Tuberculosis Test, Pre-employment Physical Exam and Physical Agility Test, Psychological Exam, and any license/certification required by this job description.
