Ocean View School District currently has two full-time Title I teacher vacancies. One is at an elementary school, and the other will be at a middle school. For the middle school Title I teacher vacancy, bilingual in Spanish and/or Vietnamese is desirable.

Basic Functions: Organizes and instructs students in reading and/or language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, health, physical education, art, music, and other assigned areas of the curriculum, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Trustees. Promotes close working relationships with staff, students and parents. Teacher is under the direct supervision of the site principal or designee. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education Required: • Bachelor’s Degree • Valid California Multiple Subject Credential • EL Authorization or equivalent • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Vietnamese is desirable Experience: • One year of successful teaching experience in an education setting is preferred.
