Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Senior Director – Early Learning Program/Designee, plan, organize and direct the monitoring of internal reviews of center based and partner sites. . Review program activities and operations ensuring they are in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and State requirements. Monitor program service areas to ensure efficient operations. Monitor program data collection functions and data management processes and systems. Prepare routine and comprehensive compliance reports. Implement procedures for continuous monitoring of assigned components/service areas.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree plus one (1) year experience in the interpretation or application of laws, rules, regulations and policies in California at the state, federal or County level or experience working as a manager in an Early Learning program; OR • Associates Degree plus two (2) years’ experience in the interpretation or application of laws, rules, regulations and policies in California at the state, federal or County level or experience working as a manager in an Early Learning program. (Must have, within eighteen months of hire, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field and be working towards attaining a BA degree (Performance Standard 1302.91(7) ).)
