Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Work under the direction and supervision of the Mental Health Services Manager. Provide a coordinated and systematic approach to mental health consultation with a trauma-informed care focus, which includes the support and promotion of staff, family, and child social-emotional wellness. Provide documentation on individual therapy goals and progress as needed and directed. Provide clinical counseling, case management, and mental health consultation.

EDJOIN Application DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: • Copy of CA LCSW or MFT or LPCC - Licensed as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of California or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or * Copy of CA ACSW or AMFT or APCC - Registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). * As long as the Mental Health Clinician is holding an Associate Number through the Board of Behavioral Sciences, salary placement is limited to step one on the salary range for this classification. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Graduation from an accredited graduate program with the receipt of a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology or Social Work is required. • Two years of professional clinical experience involving psychological counseling, including work with families, infants, toddlers, or preschool children having psychosomatic and social disorders. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience working with high-risk children and families from low-income households. Master's Degree complete in either Counseling/Psychology or Social Work. Bilingual and/or biliterate ability in Spanish language is desirable.
