DEFINITION Under supervision of the Director of Transportation or designee, service school buses/vehicles, mechanical equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years combination of training and experience in the transportation industry. Licenses and other requirements: Valid California Class B/p/s driver’s license Valid California School Bus Driver’s Certificate Driving record acceptable to the District’s insurance carrier No vehicle type restrictions Valid medical certificate issued by a District approved physician Subject to random drug testing First Aid and CPR Certificates or pass exam given by the Highway Patrol Complete background investigation as required by the California Highway Patrol Desired Qualification: Experience in fleet repairs Fork Lift Certification Class A Driver’s License
