Under the direct supervision of the Guest Service Manager, perform retail and cashier functions during Holiday Lights Event. Holiday Lights Hours: Sunday - Thursday 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday & Saturday 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required At least 16 years or older with a valid work permit Ability to communicate well orally and in writing Preferred Experience working in retail, including cash registers and related retail equipment Experience in customer service Attach any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume, transcript, diploma, resume). Documents you wish to attach should be uploaded via EDJOIN by the filing deadline in order to be considered in the hiring process (pertains to current employees also). A scanner to upload required documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301. • The documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate. It is the candidate’s responsibility to attach all documents to the EDJOIN application by the filing deadline.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. “The Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office prohibits discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based on actual or perceived ancestry, age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital or parental status or association with a person or a group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics”.
