We are seeking substitute teachers interested in helping us throughout the new school year. The position will be on-call, begin in September, and continue through June 13th, but could also lead to a long-term substitute position or even a full-time teaching position. The successful candidate will preferably have a current teaching certificate and positive school experience. The candidate must be organized and creative; have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills; be reliable and imaginative; and have the ability to inspire, challenge, and engage our students academically and emotionally. As an academically accelerated school, teachers are expected to teach a curriculum that is one year ahead while nurturing the social-emotional needs at age level.
