Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District invites top qualified individuals to apply for the position of Safety & Risk Management Coordinator. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, this position plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the District’s risk management functions, which include, but are not limited to, safety, general liability, workers’ compensation and student insurance programs; reviews and analyzes compliance with safety regulations and practices and contracts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, risk management or a related field. Four years of increasingly responsible risk management or insurance experience, preferably including one year of administrative responsibility. Qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid Class C California Driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and evidence of insurance is required.
