Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, provide direct mental health services in a multi-tiered system of support model. Services include mental health assessment, counseling and/or therapy, consultation, treatment and collateral case management; perform individual and group counseling therapy for students; serve as a resource to school site principals, service providers, students, parents and staff as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Completed Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family or related field. Valid State of California license as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Assistant Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor issued by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.

  • Certification (Board of Behavioral Science certified Associate eligible for supervised fieldwork (Associate MFT, Associate MSW, and/or Associate LPCC).)
  • Copy of Transcript (Transcripts showing conferral of Masters Degree)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Provide 3 letters of professional recommendation dated within the last 12 months)
  • Resume
