Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned administrator, performs complex and responsible duties pertaining to student enrollment and the automated school site attendance record management system at an elementary school. Maintains attendance records, prepares attendance reports, and provides information and assistance to students, staff, parents, and the public. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Equivalent to graduation from high school. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND /OR TRAINING: College units business or related field and/or secretarial training. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years clerical experience. DESIREABLE EXPERIENCE: Experience with student database programs. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost): - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES. Typing Certificate Requirements: 1. Five (5) minute typing test. 2. Certificate must contain all of the following: Name of person tested Gross words per minute Net words per minute Duration of test (five minutes) Number of actual errors (not percentage) Name of testing agency Date of test Verifier's signature Typing certificates obtained online will not be accepted. Acceptable testing centers are College/University Test Centers, Employment Agencies, and Manteca Adult School.
