Under the direction of the Child Nutrition Services Director, manage, direct, oversee, and participate in food service operations, including the serving and selling of food items to meet student needs at an assigned cafeteria site; ensure compliance with State and national guidelines related to student nutrition for breakfast, lunch, after school program meal, and snack meal supplement programs; coordinate related inventory, sanitation, and record-keeping functions; train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel. Maintain compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Assist in the training, supervising and performance evaluation of assigned staff. Responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to the creation, execution, and monitoring of fresh, locally-sourced meal programs. Focus on enhancing the professional growth of kitchen staff, fostering skills, and ensuring high-quality meal preparation aligned with nutritional guidelines. Manage resource allocation to maintain a safe and supportive dining environment for students, faculty, and the broader school community.
