Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Director or designee, the Assistant Director of Data for Continuous Improvement supports the agency implement research and evidence to strengthen instructional practice and school leadership for the local educational agencies (LEAs) we serve. The Assistant Director of Data for Continuous Improvement will work with CCEE staff, statewide agencies, and other partners to find opportunities to support internal research and data analysis initiatives and better integrate research, data, and practice, including, but not limited to the development and vetting of professional learning resources, facilitation of learning networks, management of research practice partnership, and supporting evidence-based initiatives aimed at improving educational systems. CCEE is looking for individuals with experience and expertise in developing and facilitating mutually beneficial collaborations that promote the production and use of research and data in K-12 educational settings.

EDUCATION: Master’s degree in an education-related field from an accredited college/university, or commensurate education/training/experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field from an accredited college/university required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four years developing, leading, and project managing educational research initiatives and utilizing data as the foundation for leading systems improvement efforts in a school district. CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: • Valid California driver’s license required Please review attached Position Announcement
