Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, manages and leads a variety of student services, including: Child Welfare and Attendance (SART and SARB, Discipline and Attendance), Gifted and Talented Education, Health and Psychological Services, and the Special Education Program. The Assistant Superintendent leads programs and personnel to support students with special or alternative needs, works with families, businesses, and community agencies to support students and ensures equity in all district programs and services.
