Requirements / Qualifications

-Substitute Teacher Qualifications: BA/BS or higher from an accredited college or university (verified by an official transcript). The basic skills requirement is NOT required for a 30-day Substitute Teacher Permit. The basic skills requirement IS required for an Emergency Substitute Permit for Prospective Teachers. -Substitute Bus Rider Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from the United States. -Substitute Instructional Assistant Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from the United States and demonstration of proficiency in basic reading, writing and math skills at a level required for high school seniors.
