Job Summary
Under the direction of the school site nurse and supervision of the site administrator or designee, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will assist in the care of students with health needs and perform a variety of clerical duties related to school health programs. The LVN will administer prescription and over-the-counter medications, provide first aid, assist students with toileting and tube feedings, complete documentation, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completion or graduation from an accredited vocational nurses training program; Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing. Valid California State License as a Vocational Nurse, Current First Aid and CPR certification.
