Job Summary
Under the direction of a Maintenance Supervisor, perform journey level Carpentry work in the repair of building Carpentry systems and semi-skilled work in one or more of the skilled trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cabinet-making and HVAC. Commitment to Los Alamitos Unified School District's mission, vision and priority goals. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma, GED or certificate of completion. - Three years general construction and maintenance experience. - Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent, - And any combination equivalent to one year of experience as a journey-level Carpenter. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Valid California driver's license
