We have two (2) exciting opportunities for Financial Aid Technician positions located at our campuses in San Jacinto and Menifee, CA. Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean of Financial Aid or designee, the Financial Aid Technician II provides support by processing financial aid applications and other materials necessary to provide students with federal, state and local financial aid. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1) A high school diploma or GED; AND 2) Two (2) years of college-level coursework; (attach transcript) AND 3) Two (2) years of professional experience in research, analysis, or review in a student services program area (Enrollment Services, Counseling, Financial Aid, or Student Activities) OR 1. a related field that demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities necessary to meet the performance objectives of the financial aid program AND 4) Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships with others, including those from a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff
