Job Summary

Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer at Jordan will provide essential services, including primary care, injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Additionally, this position will also include the opportunity to lead a select group of aspiring athletic trainers through hands-on experience during Jordan’s athletic events, contributing to the school’s mission of preparing students for leadership roles in sports medicine, physical therapy and/or related fields. There is potential to expand to include teaching CTE courses in the future. Requirements / Qualifications

Candidates must possess all 3 of the following requirements: 1. A valid certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Board of Certification (NATA BOC). 2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in athletic training, health, physical education, kinesiology, or a related field. 3. A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation, or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation.
