Requirements / Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social services, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing Experience: Two years’ experience working with at-promise students in the school-to-career field, including experience in making oral presentations, facilitating group discussions, and conducting vocational assessments. Additional Requirements: Positions in this class may be required to work outside of regular working hours and assigned to various school sites throughout Los Angeles County. A valid California driver’s license and availability of private transportation or ability to provide transportation between job sites is required. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
