Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, perform skilled maintenance work and complex projects in connection with the repair, construction and upkeep of the school buildings and equipment; and performs work as required. This classification is different from a Maintenance Worker I classification by the fact that they are able to perform more complex projects requiring more skill; performing more specialized work independently and utilizing more technical knowledge. This position requires the incumbent to perform skilled craft or maintenance work in the maintenance, repair, construction, and upkeep of school buildings, facilities, and miscellaneous equipment, and to do other related work.
Requirements / Qualifications
Position is open immediately This shift works from 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday Internal Applicants Only • 12 vacation days per year • 12 ick days per year • 3 PN Days • 15 paid holiday • $11,750 paid toward employee benefits Education and Experience: • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the performance of building maintenance • Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities • School district experience, is preferred
