Tehachapi Unified School District (TUSD) provides quality education programs for approximately 4,200 students in TK/Kindergarten through Grade 12, including Career Technical Education (CTE), preschool, and after-school services. We employ approximately 630 teachers, principals, and other staff across three elementary sites, one middle school, one high school, one alternative high school, and one K-8 blended learning school.

If at least three (3) applicants are permanent employees from the Tehachapi School District and demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis. THIS POSITION WILL EXPIRE ON 09/30/2024, HOWEVER MAY BE EXTENDED DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF THE DISTRICT, ITS STUDENTS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF OTHER POSITIONS OF A SIMILAR CLASSIFICATION.

Tehachapi Unified School District has one vacancy for a Roving Custodian out of the District Office for 8 hours per day / 5 days per week / 261 work days.
Tentative Times: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Benefits and night differential available.
The Roving Custodian will be assigned to the District Office, however may be sent to other sites as needed to provide additional support.
Work times may vary and are subject to change based upon the needs of the District.
