Job Summary
* Assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students with special needs. * Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). * Assist in the presentation and preparation of learning materials, lesson plans, and instructional exercises. * Perform routing clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

ESSA or NCLB must have: 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2. Two years of college or 3. AA Degree (or higher) or 4. Pass a Paraeducator test. (Please contact SCCS if you would like to take the Paraeducator test.)
