Requirements / Qualifications
The District will provide a fenced mobile home site, including necessary appurtenances to be located on the West Hills High School campus. Additionally, the District will provide the resident with electricity, water, sewer, and the use of existing campus garbage disposal facilities. A fee of $325 per month will be assessed the resident to offset the aforementioned services. Qualified resident, once selected, must negotiate the purchase of the existing home. A security deposit in the amount of $1,000 will be due in full upon acceptance by all parties.
Each candidate must submit a campus resident employment application and a letter stating applicant’s qualifications to the Human Resources Department. The Administration of West Hills High School and the District Facilities Management Department, will screen applications, conduct interviews, and nominate a selection to the Governing Board. Once this nominee is determined, and fingerprint clearance has been completed for all persons over the age of 18 residing on the premises, the nominee may enter into negotiations with the owner for the purchase of the existing manufactured home. It is strongly recommended that serious applicants get pre-approved for the asking price of the home. As the final step, the resident will enter into a formal rental agreement with the District. Copies of this document are available from the Facilities Management Department.

7. Maintain logs, responds to alarms, open gates, doors, etc., when needed, make rounds on premises
at least once nightly, interact with police departments, report vandalism and thefts, prepare written
reports to the principal and, in general, be on “watch” for protection of students, staff, and facilities.
