Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Services, the school nurse assesses, monitors and reports student health needs; conducts health related trainings to staff as needed; promotes the importance of health in the learning environment and serves as liaison between District and medical professions in the community as appropriate.

MATERIALS: • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate • Current valid California Registered Nurse License • Current valid School Nurse Services Credential • California School Audiometry certificate Must have current California Registered Nurse License and desireable is a California School Nurse Services Credential or the ability to obtain a School Nurse Services Credential, issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
