The free, short application for the Rialto Unified School District Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is now open! The priority application deadlines are October 1st and November 1st of 2024. This Fall Rialto USD is recruiting a cohort of teacher residents for the Rialto USD- Alder GSE Teacher Residency. This is an innovative and affordable pathway to a full-time teaching career in our community. Residents earn their Master’s Degree and Teaching Credential in just one year through the Alder Graduate School of Education, while joining a supportive, mentor-based program with an emphasis on social justice and equity. After the year of residency, graduates receive priority hiring as Rialto USD teachers. TUITION ~$22,610 tuition (final tuition set in Dec. 2024 for the Class of 2025) BENEFITS $30,000 stipend (Residents are not employees of the school) Up to $15,000 in state and federal grants pending available funding and eligibility Up to $50,000 in federal financial aid/loans Up to $10,000 in Alder GSE Tuition Scholarships Master's Degree, Credential, and an English Learner Authorization* *Residents placed in a Bilingual placement will also receive a Bilingual Authorization Priority hiring for a full-time position at the school of residency APPLY NOW: https://aldergse.edu/apply/ We will not accept applications submitted via EdJoin, all applications must be submitted through the Alder GSE website
Requirements / Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree completed by the end of June 2025 -A grade point average (GPA) of 2.65 preferred, under 2.65 GPA should still apply -Eligible to work in the United States, DACA, permanent residency, US Citizen Details For the June 2025 Residency Cohort: Rialto USD is looking for qualified applicants interested in earning their credential in the following areas: • Special Education K-12 • Special Education K-12 Bilingual • Single Subject Math • Single Subject Science • Multiple Subject • Multiple Subject Bilingual
